We assume the sun will rise and set.
We assume that our car will start every morning.
We assume people will show up at work.
And we sometimes assume others know what we think.
We believe they can read our mind so we go on complaining about what they did or did not do based upon assumptions.
Stop assuming and have the uncomfortable discussions.
