The 12 words that one of my mentors Dr Bob Hoffman said to start off his talk at one of the largest conferences in the profession. He said these words that were like a hatchet between the eyes…….these words hit so deep that I could picture myself in one of the old Sony commercials where the guy is sitting in a chair with sunglasses on and his hair is being blown back due to the impact of the volume of the moment.
These 12 words are the epitome of why people fail and continue in the land of confusion and despair.
What are these 12 words? Tell you what—Grab your pen and start writing… here it is…”If you lick from the lollipop of mediocrity…you will suck forever.” BAM!
